This year carving pumpkins will pretty much be the extent of our Halloween celebration... We just didn't have the time, energy or resources to figure out costumes. We are probably the lamest Halloweeners ever. Next year I am determined to change that.
Anyway, here are our pumpkins!
I made Jake gut them while I made dinner (for the first time pretty much since I've been pregnant).
Tada! The finished products. Jake used a stencil and I have to say, he did an excellent job. I free-handed it and did not do quite so excellent. It was supposed to be more on the "cute" side but turned out looking kind of scary. I guess that's what Halloween is all about.
Tomorrow will mark week 18 for our own little pumpkin. Baby update coming soon.
so fun mel! I am the WORST at pumpkins! ps...cutest pregnant person ever! (you not me...that could be taken wrong!) I wish you lived here still, but I guess I think we just really need to get together whenever you come back here sometime..mignon's wedding?! um, or something.
